How to overcome self-limiting beliefs and still hit your goals during the holidays

Oh, the Holidays. A time that brings up so many different emotions for so many people.

We feel joy, togetherness, and fun. But we can also feel overwhelmed, anxious, or loneliness too.

Whatever emotions the holidays bring up for you, I want you to know that despite all of it, it IS possible to still make an effort toward reaching your health goals.

Here are a few key things I like to remember:

1️⃣ Perfection does NOT equal better results.
2️⃣ The holidays only make up just a small fraction of this time of year.
3️⃣Support during this time is more crucial than any other time of year.

Don’t forget that your health is your most precious asset. Don’t let the time of year make you think any differently! 🎄

PIN this so you don't forget it!

Perfection does not equal better results.

If you think that because you had a few weekends of overindulging that means you’re a complete failure, you need to lower your expectations of yourself.

You are allowed to mess up. You are allowed to over eat. You’re allowed to enjoy yourself at the party.

You’re also allowed to get right back on track and make healthier choices next time.

Both are completely acceptable.

The holidays is only make up a small fraction of this time of year.

Just because there are a few holidays than usual, The last few months of the year are mostly just regular days.

Go onto your calendar and look at the days that actually have events and parties. Now go look at all of the other days. I’m guessing that there are more “regular“ days than not.

Make it a goal to stick to your plan on these days and allow yourself to have a little fun at the parties. You don’t have to let a few days of fun sabotage your entire diet!

Support during this time is more crucial than any other time of year.

Many people think that when they have a coach, they need to be “perfect” or else it’s a waste.

That couldn’t be further from the truth! Having support during the holidays is the best investment you can make because you have somebody to help navigate the tough times.

January doesn’t have to be a time where you feel badly about yourself. You have the power to change the narrative!
